The Gold Rush of 1849 brought over large populations of Asians to the U.S. and they worked harder and for lower wages than their American counterparts, and soon enough were seen as the enemies and the ones who took all the jobs. So we were always left to make something out of nothing. Here is my design from something out of nothing; our iconic soup bowl flipped over with noodles inside the bowl and chopsticks as the antennas. My intent of this shirt is to let everyone else know that we are everywhere and we aren't going anywhere.
